Story
Rosa rapé: gentle, yet real
Strength: 3 out of 7. Character: harmonious, feminine, gentle.
There are moments when you don't need a breakthrough. No big insights. No intense experience. Just something that gently settles beside you.
That is Rosa. Rosa rapé is made by the Huni Kuin, the largest indigenous people of the state of Acre in the Brazilian Amazon. With a strength of 3 out of 7, it is the gentlest in our collection. Tsunu, Rosa, and Murici are all good starting points, each with its own character. Rosa is the gentle one among them, the enveloping one.
What is Rosa rapé?
Rosa is Portuguese for rose. Rosa rapé is a fine plant powder with dried rose petals and other flowers from the Huni Kuin tradition.
Imagine this: you open the bottle. You expect the scent of wood and earth, like with many rapés. And then you smell something different. Gentle. Floral. It is the first thing people notice.
Let that gentleness not deceive you. Gentle is not weak. Rosa is tender, and tenderness has its own depth.
Rapé is pronounced as "ha-pé". That is why you also see the spelling hapé, and sometimes rapeh. The Huni Kuin have traditionally used rapé in ceremony and meditation.
How Rosa is made
Everything is done by hand, without machines. The flowers and leaves are dried and finely pounded. The sun further pulverizes them. Then everything goes through a large sieve, until a soft powder remains. During the work, songs are sung and prayers are offered.
Rapé you see elsewhere is often coarser and grainier. Our Rosa is super fine, almost powdery. That is how you can see how much handwork is involved.
From Acre to your bottle
Almost every month a new shipment arrives, in small batches. Kevin does the final inspection. The rapé goes directly into a dark bottle that blocks uv-light. This way, the prayers and chants remain captured in the bottle, and the floral scent stays fresh.
Kevin has known the Huni Kuin for about eight years. He has daily contact with a Huni Kuin village in Acre, via WhatsApp and video calls. The rapé comes directly from them, without intermediaries. Going to the village is at the top of his list.
The Huni Kuin are also called Kaxinawá. They themselves choose Huni Kuin, "the True People". So do we.
"They get the price they ask. I never haggle. And besides, a part of the proceeds goes back to the village." — Kevin
How do people experience Rosa?
With most rapés, you first feel it in your head. Rosa goes a bit lower. To your chest. To the place where your feelings live.
Many people describe Rosa as being embraced. A feeling of safety. Of being allowed to be who you are, without having to perform or be strong. Like a hand that gently unfolds a clenched fist. Not rough. But palpable.
Sometimes tears come. Not from pain, but from recognition. From something that had been waiting to be felt for a long time.
Afterwards, many people feel lighter. Gentler towards themselves, and towards the people around them.
How many people experience Rosa
- A gentle opening around the heart, safe and enveloping
- Space for feelings, including sadness
- Being allowed to be who you are, without having to perform
- Lighter and gentler, towards yourself and others
This is experience, not a promise. Everyone experiences rapé differently.
Who is Rosa rapé for?
Rosa is for almost everyone. And for some people and moments, it is just right.
You have never used rapé before
Rosa is the gentlest type in our collection. You don't know yet how your body reacts? Then Rosa is an honest start: a real experience, without it becoming too much. Start small. Want to start a bit stronger? Then look at Tsunu or Murici.
You are going through a period of sadness
Many people choose Rosa when they have lost someone or something. Not to take away the sadness. But to make space for it. To feel it without drowning in it. Rosa does not replace help or guidance.
You are sensitive, and want to be allowed to be that
Sensitive people often learn at a young age to suppress their feelings. Many of them experience Rosa as an invitation to let that go. With warmth, without judgment.
You are a man who wants to feel more
Rosa has a feminine character. That does not make it only for women. Precisely men who have learned to keep their feelings small often tell about deep experiences with Rosa.
You want to open gently for a ceremony
As an opening for a ceremony or for a session with a stronger rapé. Many people use Rosa to first feel safety and openness, before the work goes deeper.

When do you use Rosa?
During your first introduction to rapé
Rosa lets you feel what rapé is all about, without overwhelming you. A gentle start.
During a period of sadness or loss
Not to make it go away, but to feel it. Many people experience that Rosa holds them while they let go.
As a ritual to take good care of yourself
Rosa does not require a complicated intention. "I want to be good to myself" is enough.
In the evening
Many people use Rosa as a calm evening ritual, about half an hour before going to sleep. Some tell about dreams that have more meaning for them.
"I give Rosa to people on their very first ceremony when I feel they are vulnerable. Not because it is the easy choice. But because Rosa gives exactly what vulnerability needs: gentleness that you can believe."
— Kevin Lorenzini, Purity Healing

Frequently asked questions about Rosa rapé
What is Rosa rapé made of?
Rosa contains dried rose petals and other flowers from the Huni Kuin tradition. Everything handmade in Acre, Brazil, and superfine ground. Rosa is Portuguese for rose.
Is Rosa suitable as a very first rapé?
Yes. With a strength of 3 out of 7, Rosa is the gentlest in our collection. Gentle enough not to overwhelm you, and yet a real experience. Tsunu and Murici are also a good start, each with its own character. Four Rapéh's has all three, plus Cacau, as a sample set.
Is Rosa also something for men?
Certainly. Feelings are not tied to men or women. Precisely men who have kept their feelings hidden for a long time often tell about deep experiences with Rosa.
What if I feel nothing with Rosa?
Rosa is gentle. Sometimes you only notice something later, that day or that night. Also try to lower your expectation a bit. Sometimes subtle is exactly what was needed.
What is the difference between Rosa and Tsunu?
Tsunu (strength 5) is the firm, grounding one: many people experience that their head becomes quieter. Rosa (strength 3) is the gentle, enveloping one: many people feel it more around the heart. Both a good start.
What is the difference between Rosa and Caneleiro?
Rosa is gentler and enveloping. Caneleiro (strength 5) is warmer and brings more into motion for many people. Rosa for those who start carefully. Caneleiro for those who can handle more motion.
Is Rosa also something for me if I am already experienced?
Certainly. Rosa is not only there for beginners. Many experienced users take Rosa precisely at moments when they seek gentleness. Experience makes the moment richer, not less.
