Can I learn this too?
You have received Kambo yourself. You know how it feels when someone sits quietly beside you. Someone who sees what is happening, even before you say anything. And somewhere inside you, a question is growing: can I learn this too?
You can. In my Kambo training, you will learn to administer Kambo, rapé, and sananga. With time to practice and integrate.
Why an 8-month Kambo course?
I often say: “You don’t learn this in a course.” You learn a shamanic way of life by being present with what is. By working with nature and the elements. And by coming to know your medicines.
Does that sound strange, now that I teach a course myself? That is exactly why this course is designed differently. You learn on separate class days, spread over eight months. Each class day includes both theory and practice. Between class days, you practice, read, and write down what you notice. What you learn settles in your body. Not just in your head.
No shortcuts. Just an honest path.
What you learn
Each module combines theory and practice.
01 · Foundation
Rapé, sananga and Kambo as teachers, not as tools. Respect, intention and ethics. Why do you want to do this?
02 · Rapé
Types, making and preserving. Research on rapé. Blowing on yourself with the kuripe and on someone else with the tepi.
03 · Sananga
The plant, learning to make sananga yourself, and giving it. And what you do and do not say about it.
04 · Kambo
The frog, its origin, the tradition of the ceremony, the material and the arrangement.
05 · Body and learning to screen
What happens in your body during a ceremony. The intake interview, the screening and the contraindications. And when you say no.
06 · First Aid and CPR
A certified AED course, delivered by an external instructor. Purely for safety, with an official certificate.
07 · Diet: everything you consume
Not just food. Also media, stimuli, thoughts and the people around you. How does that affect a ceremony?
08 · Facilitate
From receiver to facilitator. Seeing through the eyes of the other. Perceiving the field: clearly feeling, seeing and hearing.
09 · Spaceholden and Practice
Holding space for you and supporting you. Setting goals and guiding you, with me by your side.
10 · Learning to give
You conduct a ceremony yourself, from screening to aftercare. Under my supervision.
This is how you learn
On the course days you will practice with each other in a small group. I will observe and provide guidance.
Between the course days you will work in your workbook. You will complete research assignments, keep a logbook, and assist with my ceremonies. And you will read books that deepen your understanding of the subject.
Online the course continues. Between the course days we will meet together in Zoom sessions with the whole group. There we will discuss your experiences, your questions, and the reading material. In a private learning environment you will find the course material, videos, and the group. Everything is in Dutch.
You will receive a textbook with all the course material, and a workbook with exercises, questions, and space to write yourself.
Why I teach this course
I have been working with the body for about 25 years: bodybuilding, nutrition, mindset and performance. People asked me for help from a young age. That is how I learned to guide others.
For years, I immersed myself in how the body works and what happens during a ceremony. No diploma on the wall. But I have knowledge that I use every day and pass on in this course.
As a child, I learned to sense tension in a room with hair-fine precision. That helped me survive. Now it is my greatest gift.Kevin Lorenzini, Master of Ceremonies
Is this Kambo training right for you?
This course is for you if you are 18 years or older, have received Kambo multiple times yourself, want to look at yourself first and only then at another, consider safety just as important as the ceremony, and have 8 months of time and space. Not for you if you are looking for a shortcut.

Kevin chooses the group
For your safety, the safety of the group, and the safety of the people who will guide you later.
Intake and screening are always mandatory.
Your certificate
Once you complete everything, you will receive the Purity Kambo Practitioner certificate. To earn it, you must attend all the training days, read the books, assist me at my ceremonies, conduct supervised sessions while keeping a logbook, perform your own screenings, obtain your first aid and resuscitation certificates, and lead one ceremony under my supervision.
This is a certificate issued by Purity Healing. It is not a legally recognized diploma. It is also not a medical or therapy course. I would rather make that clear now than later.
Frequently asked questions about the Kambo training
What will I learn in the Kambo course?
You will learn how to administer Kambo, rapé, and sananga. You will learn screening, first aid, explaining the diet, facilitating, and spaceholding. At the end, you will lead a ceremony yourself under Kevin's supervision.
How long does the training take?
8 months, with an expected start in September 2027. You will learn on separate class days, with time in between to practice, read, and let the material sink in. Between the class days, there will be Zoom sessions with the entire group. And you will continue working online in the private learning environment, with your textbook and your workbook. The exact dates will follow.
Should I have received Kambo myself?
Yes, multiple times. Your own experience is the foundation. You can only truly sit alongside another person if you know yourself how it feels. During the intake interview, we will discuss your experience.
Should I conduct an intake and screening?
Yes. Just like at a ceremony. After the admissions interview and screening, Kevin decides who will participate.
Is the certificate legally recognized?
No. Purity Kambo Practitioner is an in-house certificate from Purity Healing. It does not grant medical or therapeutic authority. You will receive the first aid and resuscitation certificate from a recognized, external organization.
Is this a medical course or a therapy course?
No. Kambo is a ceremony from the Amazonian tradition, not a treatment. You do learn a lot about safety, the body, and screening. If in doubt, you always refer someone to a doctor first.
How much does the course cost?
The price is coming. You pay in 3 installments, with a deposit as soon as you are admitted. Your registration itself costs nothing and is not yet binding.
Where do the lesson days take place?
We will announce this as soon as the dates are confirmed. Sign up to be the first to know.
