In short
- Purity Kambo Practitioner is my Kambo training. You will learn to administer Kambo, rapé and sananga.
- The training lasts 8 months. The first group is expected to start in September 2027.
- Safety is the foundation: intake, screening, first aid and having the courage to say no.
- You can sign up now. It is free and not yet binding.
Imagine. You have received Kambo yourself. You still remember how it felt. The warmth. The wave through your body. And someone sitting calmly beside you. Someone who saw what was happening, even before you said anything.
And somewhere inside you, a question grows: can I learn this too?
Are you looking for a Kambo training in the Netherlands? Then read here how I approach it. What you will learn, how long it takes, who it is for. And why safety always comes first with me.
Why an 8-month Kambo training?
I often say: "This is not something you learn in a training." You learn a shamanic life by being with what is. By working with nature and the elements. And by learning to know your medicines.
Does that sound strange, now that I myself give a training? I understand it. That is precisely why this training is designed differently.
You do not learn in one long weekend. You learn in separate class days, spread over 8 months. Every class day is theory and practice. Between the class days you practice, read and write down what you notice. You assist in my ceremonies. And we come together in Zoom sessions with the whole group.
You will receive a textbook with the course material and a workbook with exercises and questions. This way, what you learn lands in your body. Not just in your head.
No quick route. But a fair one.
Safety first: how you learn to see as a facilitator
Kambo is intense and physical. Not everyone can do it safely. That is why everything with me starts with safety. At a ceremony, and therefore also in the training.
Intake and screening
Every Kambo ceremony starts with an intake and a screening. You will learn to do this yourself. You will learn the contraindications. These are situations in which someone had better not do Kambo. And you will learn the hardest thing: saying no, even when someone really wants to.
First aid and resuscitation
You will follow a recognized first aid and resuscitation course, with an AED. An external instructor gives that course. You will receive an official certificate for it. Purely for safety. Because if someone becomes unwell, you want to know calmly and confidently what you are doing.
Responsibility
Kambo is a ceremony from the tradition of the Amazon. Not therapy and not medical treatment. As a facilitator, you promise nothing. You hold the space, you pay attention, and the participant remains the owner of their own process.
As I myself say: you are not being repaired. You are being guided to listen again yourself.
What do you learn in the Kambo training?
The training has ten modules. In broad terms:
- Rapé, sananga and Kambo. The origin, the tradition and the respect with which you work with them.
- Body and screening. What happens in your body during a ceremony, and when you say no.
- Diet, in the broad sense. Not just food, but everything you take in: also stimuli, media and the people around you.
- Facilitating and spaceholding. From receiver to facilitator. Holding the space and the person.
- Learning to give. At the end, you will lead a ceremony yourself, from screening to aftercare. Under my supervision.
The full overview is on the Kambo training page.
Who leads the training?
That is me, Kevin Lorenzini, ceremony leader at Purity Healing.
I have 8 years of experience with Kambo. For 5 years now, I have been guiding Kambo ceremonies myself. In that time, many people have already sat with me for their Kambo ceremony. Every time I learn something new. Now I give private sessions in Nuenen and Eindhoven, and Adem & Kambo in a small group, together with Erik van Tilburg.
In addition, I have been working with the body for about 25 years: bodybuilding, nutrition, mindset and performance. Even as a young man, people asked me for help. That is how I learned to guide others. I spent years immersing myself in how the body works. No diploma on the wall. But knowledge that I use every day, and that I pass on in this training.
About eight years ago, I met Huni Kuin in the Netherlands from a village in Acre, in the Brazilian Amazon. A close bond grew from that. We still have daily contact. I learn one-on-one from him, about rapé, the plants and Kambo. Going to the village myself is at the top of my list.
"As a child, I learned to feel tension in a space with great precision. That helped me survive. Now it is my greatest gift."
Is this Kambo training something for you?
This training is for you if you:
- Are 18 years or older;
- have received Kambo yourself multiple times;
- first want to look at yourself, and only then at someone else;
- consider safety just as important as the ceremony;
- have 8 months of time and space.
Are you looking for a quick route? Then this is not your training.
How the admission process works
- 1. You sign up via the training page. I will contact you personally.
- 2. You tell me about your motivation and your own experience with the medicines.
- 3. We have an admission interview and you do the screening, just like at a ceremony.
- 4. After that, I select the group. For the safety of you, the group and the people you will guide later.
The certificate: to be honest
Do you complete everything? Then you will receive the Purity Kambo Practitioner certificate. To get it, you follow all the class days, read the books, assist in my ceremonies, give guided sessions with a logbook and do screenings yourself. You get your first aid and resuscitation certificate. And you lead one ceremony under my supervision.
It is an independent certificate from Purity Healing. No legally recognized diploma. It does not give medical or therapeutic authority. I would rather say that now than later.
Price, location and dates
The price will follow. You pay in 3 installments, with a down payment only after you have been admitted. Your registration itself costs nothing and is not yet binding. I will announce the location and the exact dates as soon as they are finalized. If you are registered, you will hear it first.
Have you not received Kambo yet?
Then this is your first step. Read what Kambo is and how you prepare for a Kambo ceremony. Want to experience what it is like yourself? Book a Kambo ceremony. Everything there also starts with an intake and screening.
Do you feel that this is your path?
Sign up. I will contact you personally and send you the training guide. Read it carefully. After that, we will talk further.
