Kambo ceremony in the Netherlands: planning your visit to Nuenen

A green Kambo frog on a branch

In short

  • Private Kambo sessions in Nuenen and Eindhoven, in the south of the Netherlands.
  • From Antwerp, Aachen or Düsseldorf it is about 1 to 1.5 hours by car.
  • In Belgium, a ceremony can also take place in your own home, by arrangement.
  • Always with an intake and screening. Without an intake, you do not take part.
  • Start with a free 45-minute introductory call, by video too.

Just imagine. You live in Antwerp, Brussels, Düsseldorf or Cologne. Or somewhere further away in Europe. You have been reading about Kambo for a while. You feel that something is stuck and you want to get moving again. But you are not looking for a retreat on the other side of the world. You are looking for someone close by. Someone you can talk to first.

Nuenen is closer than you think. It is a village next to Eindhoven, in the south of the Netherlands. From Belgium and western Germany you are often there sooner than you expect.

I am Kevin Lorenzini, ceremony leader from Nuenen. In this blog you will read how to plan a Kambo ceremony when you come from abroad.

Kambo ceremony in the Netherlands: your options

Kambo is the secretion of a green frog from the Amazon (Phyllomedusa bicolor). Indigenous peoples have traditionally used it in ceremonies. A ceremony is intense and physical. If you don't know yet what it is, first read What is Kambo?

  • Private session in Nuenen or Eindhoven. One to one, just you and me. We agree on the exact place together when you plan your appointment.
  • At home in Belgium. Would you rather be in your own familiar surroundings? Then I come to you. Always by arrangement. We discuss the travel costs in advance.
  • Breath & Kambo with Erik. Now and then in a small group, together with Erik van Tilburg of Studio Purana: Purity Healing × Studio Purana.

Travel time to Nuenen

These are rough travel times by car, without traffic jams. Always check a route planner yourself before you leave.

  • Antwerp: about 1 hour 15 minutes (around 90 km).
  • Brussels: about 1 hour 45 minutes (around 135 km).
  • Aachen: about 1 hour 15 minutes (around 95 km).
  • Düsseldorf: about 1.5 hours (around 115 km).
  • Cologne: about 1 hour 45 minutes (around 145 km).

These travel times are an indication. They depend on traffic and the time of day.

By train and bus

Prefer public transport? Then travel to Eindhoven Centraal station. From Belgium and Germany you usually change trains once or more on the way. Nuenen has no train station of its own. From Eindhoven you continue by bus or taxi. For current connections, check NS, SNCB or Deutsche Bahn.

Coming from further away

Do you live further away in Europe? Eindhoven has its own airport, Eindhoven Airport. From there you continue by bus or taxi. In that case, the free introductory call by video is a good first step: you get to know each other before you book any travel.

How to plan your visit

  • 1. Get acquainted (optional). Plan a free 45-minute call. By phone or video, so you don't have to travel for it yet.
  • 2. Book your place. Pay the €100 deposit online.
  • 3. Intake and screening. Fill in the secure form. I read it myself.
  • 4. Prepare. Follow the diet and write down your intention. Read how in Preparing for a Kambo ceremony.
  • 5. Plan your journey. Leave in good time. Arrive relaxed, not rushed from a traffic jam.
  • 6. Plan rest afterwards. See below.

Plan rest after the ceremony

After a Kambo ceremony you don't want to go straight back into the busy world. Plan nothing else that day. Coming from far away? Then preferably have someone drop you off and pick you up, or travel together with someone. Some people stay a night nearby. Then you drive home calmly the next day.

After your ceremony you can always send me a message. Read more in After your Kambo ceremony: rest, food and aftercare.

What does it cost?

  • Free introductory call: €0, 45 minutes.
  • Private session in Nuenen or Eindhoven: €250.
  • At home or on location: €250 plus travel costs.

You book with a €100 deposit. You pay the rest on the day itself. More explanation in What does a Kambo ceremony cost?

Always an intake and screening first

Kambo is not right for everyone at every moment. That is why you always start with an intake and screening. I look at your health, your intention and whether this is the right moment. If Kambo does not fit your situation, I will tell you honestly, and you get your deposit back in full.

Kambo is not suitable, among other things, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with serious heart or vascular problems, with epilepsy, or under the age of 18. Do you take medication, or do you feel low? Then always talk to your GP first. Mention everything in your intake.

Purity Healing is not therapy and not a medical treatment. You are not being repaired. You are guided to listen to yourself again.

Who guides you?

I have been guiding Kambo ceremonies for 5 years, and I have been working with Kambo for 8 years. In that time I have guided many people. About eight years ago, in the Netherlands, I met Huni Kuin from a village in Acre, in the Brazilian Amazon. We are still in touch every day. From them I learn about Kambo and the other medicines of the forest.

My approach is body-oriented and down to earth. No claims. No promises. But careful guidance, clear boundaries and respect for both tradition and safety.
